Cold stratify seeds for 3 weeks before sowing, which promotes rapid and even germination . Sow indoors 4 weeks before the last frost , then transplant after the last frost , into the ground or pots.
Plant 3mm (1/8") deep , spacing plants 28cm (11") apart and rows 45cm (17") apart . This plant prefers well-drained soil , full sun exposure , and moderate watering , tolerating dry soils well once established.
