Cultivation method:

Sow directly into the ground when the risk of frost has passed and the soil is well warmed, or start indoors 3 to 4 weeks before transplanting. Plant 2 to 3 cm deep, spacing plants 90 cm to 1 m apart in the row and rows 1.5 to 2 m apart to allow for good development.

This squash prefers rich, loose, well-drained soil with full sun exposure. Water regularly to maintain consistent moisture and mulch around the plants to reduce evaporation and limit weeds. Combine it with companion plants such as corn or beans for a harmonious garden and avoid enemy plants such as tomatoes or cabbage.
