Description

Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Desert Plains' is an exceptional ornamental pennisetum variety, prized for its compact habit, generous flowering, and superb fall color. From late summer, it produces an abundance of silky, brownish-purple spikes, borne well above the light green foliage, which gradually turns reddish, orange, and gold in autumn.
