This heirloom variety of sugar pumpkin produces medium-sized, round fruits, approximately 20 to 25 cm in diameter, with a bright orange skin. The flesh is dense, fine-textured, and naturally sweet, ideal for pies, purées, and homemade preparations. Renowned since the late 19th century for its culinary qualities, it also stores well after harvesting.

Planting and maintenance:

Harvest when fully ripe before the first frost to ensure good flavor and optimal storage.
