Planting and maintenance:
Sow when all risk of frost has passed and the soil is thoroughly warmed, ideally above 18°C (64°F), in a sunny, sheltered location. Plant in mounds spaced 120 to 150 cm (4 to 6 inches) apart, in rich, warm, well-drained soil, then thin to three or four plants per row after emergence. Water regularly and evenly, preferably in the morning, and harvest frequently by cutting the fruit to encourage continuous production.
