Organic 'Buttercup' Squash
Organic 'Buttercup' squash (Cucurbita pepo), offered by the seed company Aimers
This heirloom variety produces medium-sized, round fruits with dark green skin marked by fine grayish streaks and a characteristic cupule at the floral tip. The bright orange flesh is thick, sweet, and fiber-free, offering an excellent texture after cooking. Highly reliable and productive, this winter squash is particularly prized for its long storage life.
