This heirloom variety produces round, ribbed fruits with dark green skin, approximately 15 cm in diameter. The pale yellow flesh is dense, sweet, and very flavorful, especially delicious roasted in the oven. Productive and reliable, this winter squash is known for its good storage qualities and abundant harvest at the end of the season.

Planting and maintenance:
Sow directly outdoors from late May to mid-June, about 2.5 cm deep, in full sun, in deep, rich, well-drained soil enriched with compost. Plant in mounds spaced about 2.4 m apart and thin to three plants per location after germination. Water regularly but not excessively and protect the fruit from prolonged dampness. Harvest when fully ripe before the first frost to ensure good storage.
