Organic thyme
Organic thyme (Thymus vulgaris), offered by the seed company Aimers
This heirloom perennial forms a dense, fine, greyish-green, highly aromatic foliage with a low, spreading habit. Its warm, concentrated flavor is ideal for seasoning poultry, game dishes, stews, sauces, and marinades. Once established, thyme becomes vigorous and undemanding, while also producing nectar-rich flowers that are highly valued by pollinators.
