Organic 'Dark Green' Zucchini
Organic 'Dark Green' zucchini (Cucurbita pepo), offered by the seed company Aimers
This heirloom summer squash variety forms a vigorous, bushy plant with dense foliage. The smooth, elongated, dark green fruits are best harvested young for tender flesh and a sweet flavor, but can also be left to mature for cooking and baking. Highly productive, one or two plants are often sufficient to ensure a bountiful harvest all summer long.
