‘Rainbow Barbie’ is a pink anemone that brings bright colour to garden beds, containers and cut-flower bouquets. Its open blooms have dark centres and are carried on stems about 40 cm tall. Each pack contains 5 dormant corms, commonly sold as anemone bulbs, for spring planting and flowers during the growing season.

In Canada, plant outdoors in spring once the risk of frost has passed in your area. Choose full sun or partial shade and loose, well-drained soil. Soak the corms in water for a few hours to rehydrate them, then plant 5 cm deep and 10 cm apart. Water them in and keep the soil moderately moist during growth, without leaving it waterlogged.

Plant in groups for a stronger splash of colour, paired with white flowers or simple foliage. Remove faded blooms and allow the leaves to yellow naturally after flowering. In cold-winter regions, store the dormant corms in a dry, frost-free place. This ornamental plant is toxic if eaten; wear gloves when handling it, as its sap can irritate skin.
