Cultivation method :
Direct sow as soon as the soil can be worked in spring, continuing every two weeks as long as temperatures remain cool. Plant seeds 3mm deep, with rows 45cm apart. Maintain consistent moisture to ensure tender, crisp leaves. Harvest by cutting the head off at the base or cutting off the outer leaves while allowing the plant to regrow. Be careful of bolting, as it makes the leaves bitter.
