Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Tsukumo' is a dwarf, densely packed variety native to Japan that forms a small, cushion-like plant with fine, dark green needles and a soft texture. Its extremely slow growth and rounded shape make it a perfect conifer for miniature gardens, rockeries, or bonsai. Very hardy and adaptable, 'Tsukumo' prefers well-drained soil and a sunny to partially shaded location. Its refined appearance and controlled size make it an ideal plant for structuring delicate compositions or Japanese garden scenes.
