Transplant into the garden in fresh, deep, moist, and rich soil that has been previously amended with compost and a natural fertilizer . Plant the seedlings about 10 cm deep on small mounds spaced 50 cm apart, with rows 40 to 80 cm apart depending on the available space. Full sun is ideal, but this cabbage also tolerates light partial shade .

Growing tips:

Keep the soil consistently moist , but not waterlogged. Mulching helps retain moisture and suppress weeds. As with all brassicas, crop rotation is strongly recommended to reduce the risk of disease.

Harvest :

Harvest when the center of the apple has reached the size of a large, curly apple , firm to the touch. Depending on the sowing date, harvesting takes place from the end of July until November . Cut the apple at the base with a clean knife.
