The heads of the Early Purple Vienna Kohlrabi are round, dense and reach about 5 cm in diameter when ready to be harvested. The leaves have a tender and tasty flesh, perfect to be eaten raw in crudités, or cooked in stir-fries, soups and marinades. This variety is also ideal for fresh salads, adding a touch of crunch and slightly sweet.

Early Purple Vienna Kohlrabi prefers well-drained soil and a sunny location. Sowing can be started outdoors as early as 3 weeks before the last frost, and heads are ready to harvest about 55 days after sowing, ensuring a quick and continuous harvest.
