Cotinus coggygria ‘Golden Spirit’ is a spectacular ornamental shrub, prized for its extremely bright golden-yellow foliage and its strong visual impact in the garden. It forms a dense, rounded, well-branched shrub, ideal as a specimen plant, in a contrasting bed, or as a decorative informal hedge. Its vibrant yellow deciduous foliage brightens landscapes from spring to summer, sometimes taking on subtle chartreuse hues depending on exposure.
