Cultivation method

Sow directly outdoors in the cool, moist conditions of early spring, or start seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost in a soilless mix. Maintain a temperature of 20°C for 14-21 days for optimum germination, which can sometimes take longer. Once germinated, place the seedlings under a light at a slightly cooler temperature before hardening off and transplanting into full sun. Late autumn sowing is also effective.

During the first and second growing seasons, carefully remove weeds to allow the thyme to establish itself. After that, it will compete effectively with weeds.

Add a touch of fragrance and resilience to your garden with creeping thyme, a versatile and decorative plant ideal for sunny gardens.
