Cultivation method :
Sow seeds 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost , at an ideal temperature of 22 to 26°C . When the seedlings reach 10 to 15 cm , transplant them into the open ground after the last frost, spacing them 60 to 80 cm apart.
Plant them in rich, well-drained soil , with full sun exposure . Staking is recommended to support the heavy fruits.
The first fruits ripen after 75 to 85 days , providing a generous and tasty harvest.
Pot culture : possible in a large container!
Although it prefers open ground, the 'German Orange Strawberry' can be grown in pots of at least 20 litres with good staking and regular watering .
