Cultivation method

Sow 3 mm deep , spacing the plants 30 to 45 cm apart so that they have enough space to develop well . Cosmos thrives in full sun , in light, well-drained soil . Avoid excess nitrogen , which promotes foliage to the detriment of flowers.
Harvest and maintenance
To prolong flowering, regularly remove faded flowers . It is also advisable to stagger sowing every 3 weeks to enjoy continuous flowering until the first frosts.
Flowering stems can be cut for bouquets , where they hold up well in vases, or dried for timeless floral decorations.
