The 'Sundream' winter squash is the result of a dehybridization project of the famous F1 'Sunshine' variety, preserving its deep orange flesh , exceptional flavor, and generous yield. Small to medium in size , its uniform fruits offer dense, sweet, and velvety flesh, ideal for roasting , baking , purées , pies , and pastries. A promising variety, developed by Bird & Bee Seeds, combining excellent taste and great reliability in the vegetable garden.

Farming method
Soak the seeds in lukewarm water for a maximum of 24 hours , then scarify to facilitate germination.
Start indoors 3 to 4 weeks before the last frost. Transplant outdoors in late May–early June , when the soil reaches 25°C .
Sow at a depth of 2.5 cm (1″) .
Spacing: 38–45 cm between plants, 60–90 cm between rows.
In full sun (level 3), with moderate watering (level 2).
Germination in 7 to 10 days between 25 and 32 °C (optimum 27–35 °C).
Maturity: 100 days .
Harvesting and preservation
Harvest when:
• The color is rich ,
• the skin is very tough (resistant to nails),
• the stain on the ground turns cream, gold or orange.
Cut, leaving 2″ of stem to prevent rot.
Ripen in a dry, warm place, then store at 10–12 °C with 55–75% humidity and good ventilation.
