Farming method
Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost. Transplant outdoors once all risk of frost has passed (end of May). Sow the seeds 6 mm deep in well-drained soil, in full sun (level 3). Space the plants 15 to 30 cm apart, with 45 to 60 cm between rows.
Light watering (level 1). Germination in 7 to 14 days between 21 and 24 °C (optimum 21–29 °C).
Harvesting and preservation
Harvest the fully open flowers before they begin to wilt. Ideally, cut them in the morning, once the dew has evaporated.
To dry: hang the stems upside down in a dry, dark, and well-ventilated place. Once dry, store them in airtight containers for long-lasting freshness.
