Farming method
To encourage germination, soak the seeds for a maximum of 8 hours in lukewarm water (longer soaking will result in mortality). Sow directly outdoors after the last frost , at a depth of 2.5–5 cm .
Space the plants 7 to 10 cm apart, with 60 cm between rows. Germination takes 8 to 10 days at 21 and 30 °C (optimum 26 °C).
Place in full sun (level 3) with moderate watering (level 2). To extend production, sow every 3 weeks .
Harvesting and preservation
Harvest when the pods and seeds are completely dry and ripe . Always ensure good air circulation to prevent mold during drying.
Store only dried beans , in airtight containers, away from light and moisture.
