Space the plants 7 to 10 cm apart, with 30 cm between rows. Germination takes 8 to 10 days at 21 and 31 °C (optimum 26 °C).
Provide full sun exposure (level 3) and moderate watering (level 2). To stagger the harvest, sow every 3 weeks .
Harvesting and preservation
Harvest when the pods are well-formed and full , depending on the intended use (fresh or dried). For dried beans, leave the plants to dry in place with plenty of air.
For winter, freeze only dried beans , or blanch green beans briefly before freezing.
