Farming method
Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost. Gently press the seeds 2.5 cm deep and cover lightly. Germination occurs in 7 to 10 days at 21–25 °C (optimum 21 °C). Transplant outdoors to full sun (level 3) and water moderately (level 2). Space plants 25–30 cm apart, with 40–45 cm between rows. This variety tolerates a variety of soil types well and is very easy to grow.
Harvesting and preservation
The edible flowers can be harvested fresh to decorate salads and desserts. The leaves , also edible, should be used sparingly due to their strong aroma. Cut flowers retain their vibrancy for several days. Pick them regularly to encourage continuous blooming.
