Farming method

Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before planting outdoors. Place the seeds about 1 cm deep in warm potting soil, maintained between 27 and 31°C to encourage efficient germination, usually in seven to twenty-one days. Harden off the seedlings at 18–19°C before transplanting. Provide full sun (level 3) and moderate watering (level 2). Space plants 30 to 45 cm apart and rows 45 to 60 cm apart. Thanks to their compact but dense growth habit, good air circulation promotes abundant and consistent production.

Harvesting and preservation

Harvest the first fruits quickly to encourage continuous production . Picked when bright red, they reveal their maximum freshness. Store them at 10-12°C with 95% relative humidity to preserve their firmness and juiciness.
