Farming method

Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before planting out . Place the seeds 3–6 mm (1/8–1/4") deep in a light potting mix, and maintain a temperature between 23 and 29 °C for germination in 5 to 10 days . Reduce watering and nitrogen during hardening off to produce short, sturdy seedlings.

Transplant when there is no longer a risk of frost. Space plants 60–90 cm (24–36") apart, with 120–180 cm (4–6') between rows. Provide full sun and regular watering (level 3). Although the variety is determinate, light staking is helpful to support the elongated fruit clusters.

Harvesting and preservation

Harvest when the fruits are a uniform bright yellow and slightly soft. To get an earlier harvest, pick when the tomato shows its first golden blush , then let it ripen at 22°C or higher . Store between 12–21°C , at 95% relative humidity , to maintain their firmness.
