Organic 'Caspian Pink' Tomato
Organic 'Caspian Pink' tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) from the seed company Gaia, a giant Russian rose, sweet, elegant and considered the queen of pink tomatoes
The 'Caspian Pink' tomato is a Russian heirloom variety prized for its sweet flavor , silky texture, and natural elegance. Indeterminate and vigorous, it produces very large, soft pink , often wrinkled , oblate fruits that can reach 1 to 2 pounds . It is among the few tomatoes capable of rivaling—and even surpassing—the famous Pink Brandywine in tasting competitions in the United States, where it has repeatedly won first place.

Farming method
Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before planting out . Cover the seeds 3–6 mm (1/8–1/4") deep in a light potting mix, then maintain a temperature of 23–29 °C for germination in 5–10 days . During hardening off, reduce water and nitrogen to strengthen the seedlings.
Transplant after the last frost. Space plants 60 to 90 cm (24–36") apart, with 120 to 180 cm (4–6') between rows. Provide full sun , regular watering (level 3) , and install sturdy supports , essential for supporting its large and abundant fruit.
Harvesting and preservation
Harvest when the fruit turns a uniform pale pink and becomes slightly soft. To advance the harvest, pick those that have already shown their first color , then let them ripen off the vine at 22°C or higher . Store the fruit between 12–21°C , at 95% relative humidity , to preserve its texture and sweetness.
