The 'Sprite' tomato is a compact heirloom variety, bred to produce a generous crop of small, oval, red, grape-like tomatoes. Sweet, juicy, and with thin skins, they are ideal for salads, tasting platters, and eating fresh. Thanks to its determinate growth habit and short stature, 'Sprite' is perfectly suited to small gardens, pots, containers, and tight borders. It produces continuously until the first frost, delivering an abundance of uniform fruit in just 60 days.

Farming method
Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date. Place seeds 3–6 mm (1/8–1/4") deep in a light potting mix. Maintain a temperature of 23–29°C for rapid germination (5–10 days). During hardening-off, reduce watering and nitrogen application to strengthen the seedlings.
Transplant outdoors or into pots once the risk of frost has passed. Space plants 30 to 45 cm (12 to 18 inches) apart in rows 120 to 180 cm (4 to 6 feet) apart if planted in the garden. Provide full sun (level 3) and consistent watering (watering level 3). Thanks to its determined and compact growth habit, staking is not always necessary.
Harvesting and preservation
Harvest when the fruit turns a uniform red. To advance the harvest, pick as soon as the first color appears, then let it ripen off the vine at 22°C or above . Store the fruit between 12 and 21°C , at a relative humidity of around 95% .
