The 'Sugar Cherry' tomato is a heritage variety renowned for its exceptionally sweet, intense, and vibrant flavor . This tiny red cherry tomato, about 2.5 cm (1") in diameter, is a true delicacy to enjoy straight from the garden. It produces abundant and consistent fruit throughout the season on vigorous indeterminate plants. It's perfect for salads, colorful appetizers, summer kebabs, or simply as a fresh, hand-picked snack.

Farming method
Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost . Place the seeds 3–6 mm (1/8–1/4") deep in a light potting mix and maintain a temperature of 23–29°C to encourage rapid germination (5–10 days). During hardening-off, slightly reduce watering and nitrogen application to produce stronger seedlings.
Transplant outdoors once all risk of frost has passed. Space plants 60 to 90 cm (24 to 36 inches) apart in rows 120 to 180 cm (4 to 6 feet) apart . Provide full sun (level 3) and regular watering (level 3) . Sturdy staking is required to support vigorous growth.
Harvesting and preservation
Harvest when the red color is fully developed for optimal flavor. To advance the harvest, pick at the first sign of color and then let the tomatoes ripen off the vine at 22°C or higher . Store the tomatoes between 12 and 21°C , with a relative humidity of around 95% .
