The 'Tumbling Tom Red' tomato is a heritage variety specially selected for its trailing habit , perfect for hanging baskets, patio pots, window boxes, and decorative containers. Its supple stems are covered in a cascade of sweet, juicy, red cherry tomatoes, produced continuously throughout the summer. Highly productive, attractive, and easy to grow, it requires no pruning and very little shaping. An ideal variety for small spaces, urban gardens, and early container gardening.
Although compact, this variety is indeterminate , which allows it to produce throughout the season as long as conditions are favorable.

Farming method
Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost. Sow seeds 3–6 mm (1/8–1/4") deep in fine potting soil, and maintain a temperature between 23 and 29 °C for germination in 5 to 10 days. Slightly reduce watering and nitrogen application during hardening-off to produce strong seedlings before transplanting.
Transplant into hanging baskets, deep pots, or garden containers once the risk of frost has passed. Provide full sun (level 3) and regular watering (watering level 3) to support continuous production. No pinching or shaping is necessary: simply allow the stems to droop and branch naturally.
Harvesting and preservation
Harvest when the fruit is a uniform bright red. To advance the harvest, pick them when they begin to turn pink and let them ripen off the vine at 22°C or above . Store tomatoes between 12 and 21°C with a relative humidity of around 95%.
