Transplant outdoors after all risk of frost has passed. Space plants 20 to 45 cm (8 to 18 inches) apart in rows 60 to 90 cm (24 to 36 inches) apart. Choose a very sunny location (sun level 3) and well-drained soil. Water moderately (watering level 2). Growth is optimal at around 23°C (73°F), and maturity occurs in approximately 68 days.
Harvesting and preservation
Harvest the flowers before they are fully open to ensure they last longer in a vase. Pick them early in the morning to preserve their freshness. The petals can also be used as an edible garnish.
