Vibrant colors such as orange, gold, yellow, russet, white, and stunning bi-colors with silvery foliage add a dramatic touch to your garden. Although flowering may slow in high humidity or excessive heat, they resume quickly when conditions improve.

How to grow:
Galaxy Gazania loves warm temperatures and full sun. Sow directly into the ground 1/4 inch (6 mm) deep in early to mid-May, then thin to 8 inches (20 cm) apart when plants are 1 inch (2.5 cm) tall. For early flowering, start indoors 7-8 weeks before the last frost date in a soilless mix. Seeds germinate in 10-14 days at 70°F (21°C). Once germinated, place plants in bright light at a cooler temperature of 59°F (15°C). Harden off before transplanting outdoors after all danger of frost.
Tip: Plant in groups of six or more for a dramatic effect that highlights the contrast between the silver foliage and the vibrant flowers.
