Easy to grow, 'Groninger' Brussels sprouts thrive in well-drained soils rich in organic matter. This variety prefers full sun exposure and regular irrigation for optimal growth and abundant harvests.

To start, sow seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost or directly in the ground when temperatures are favorable. Sow 1 cm deep, in rows 60 cm apart. When seedlings reach a sufficient size, thin or transplant to maintain spacing of 45 to 60 cm. Germination occurs in 7 to 14 days.

During cultivation, remove yellowed leaves to encourage head development. Harvest cabbages when they are well formed, firm and 2 to 4 cm in size, starting with the lower heads. This compact cabbage fits perfectly into tight spaces such as balconies or terraces.

Brussels sprouts 'Groninger' are a versatile and reliable variety, providing tasty and nutritious harvests for gardeners of all skill levels.
