Sowing tips
For a new lawn:
- Clean the surface and remove all debris.
- Spread a layer of potting soil 10 to 15 cm (4 to 6 in), then rake.
- Divide the seeds into two portions and sow them in a crisscross pattern.
- Cover lightly with about 6 mm (1/4 in) of fine potting soil.
- Keep the soil moist but not excessively so until full germination.
To thicken an existing lawn:
- Spread the seeds evenly over the existing lawn.
- Divide into two portions and sow in a crisscross pattern.
- Ensure good contact with the soil and water regularly until germination.
