A golden touch for your vegetable garden

Tomato 'Jubilee' (Solanum lycopersicum), offered by Semences OSC.

Introduced in the 1880s, this heirloom tomato produces beautiful yellow fruits mid-season. With a thick, low-acid flesh and a deliciously sweet taste, its tomatoes weigh between 200 and 300 g. Ideal for adding colour and sweetness to your dishes. Indeterminate growth, offering continuous production throughout the season.

Plant height: 50-100 cm
Growth Type: Indeterminate
Tomato Type: Beefsteak
Days to harvest: 75-80 days
Degree of difficulty: Easy
Frost Tolerance: Killed by Frost
Companion plants: Basil, onions, peppers
Enemy plants: Potatoes, fennel
Suggested Uses: Fresh slices, salads, sauces
Plant Type: Annual

Cultivation method:

Sow seeds indoors about 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Use a peat moss-based mix for best germination at a temperature of 21-24°C. When seedlings are 4cm, prick out into individual pots and lower the temperature to 15-18°C. Harden them off before transplanting into the ground in late May, spacing 90cm apart.
Tomatoes require regular watering at the base and staking to support their vigorous growth. Apply mulch to preserve moisture and rotate crops annually to prevent disease.

The availability of our seeds varies depending on seasonal availability, production schedules and supplier inventory. Certain varieties may only be offered for a limited time based on their natural growth cycle, sowing period or available stock. These product pages are designed to help and inspire gardeners in choosing the right seeds for vegetable gardens, flower beds, pollinator gardens, container growing, naturalization projects and sustainable outdoor spaces.
