A variety famous for being the basis of the famous sauce of the same name. It produces small, elongated, upward-facing fruits that turn from yellow to orange and then bright red when ripe. Its intense spiciness ( 30,000 to 50,000 Scoville units) is sharp but tasty, with a tangy touch. Very decorative, the plant is compact, productive and ideal both in pots and in the ground.
