Slow to bolt, this basil is easy to grow and offers a long harvest of glossy leaves.

Days to maturity : 60 to 80 days
Plant Height : 45 to 60 cm (18 to 24 inches)
Space plants : 90 to 120 cm (36 to 48 inches) apart
Exposure : Full sun
Plant : Annual
Sowing : Indoor or direct sowing

Cultivation method:

For direct sowing, wait until late May, after all risk of frost, and sow seeds outdoors. To prolong harvest, sow every two weeks until August. For indoor starts, sow seeds a few weeks before the last frost date, then transplant seedlings to the garden once temperatures have settled.

Lemon basil prefers well-drained soil and full sun exposure. It can also be grown indoors, on a bright windowsill or under grow lights during the winter. Water regularly to keep the soil slightly moist. Trim leaves and flowers to promote dense growth and prolong harvest.

A unique and versatile herb!

Lemon Basil is perfect for gardeners looking for an aromatic and flavorful basil variation. Its distinctive, spicy scent enhances recipes exceptionally well, while its attractive foliage adds a decorative touch to your garden or containers. Easy to grow and prolific, it is a must-have herb for culinary and herb lovers.
