Lonicera japonica 'Halliana', known as Hall's Japanese Honeysuckle, is a semi-evergreen climbing vine highly valued for its abundant flowering and enchanting fragrance. This vigorous variety develops long, flexible stems that easily twine around trellises, pergolas, or fences, quickly forming a dense green screen. From early summer until autumn, it produces a multitude of creamy-white tubular flowers that turn pale yellow as they age, releasing a very intense sweet fragrance, especially in the evening. This bloom attracts numerous pollinators and brings a remarkable sensory dimension to the garden. Its glossy dark green foliage often remains partially evergreen in mild climates. After flowering, small purplish-black berries appear and are appreciated by birds. Very hardy and adaptable, this vine grows easily in ordinary, well-drained soil.
