Lonicera × tellmanniana, known as Tellmann's honeysuckle, is a vigorous deciduous climbing vine highly prized for its abundant bloom and bright color. This variety develops long, flexible stems that easily twine around trellises, pergolas, and fences, quickly creating a decorative green screen. In early summer, the plant is covered in a multitude of bright orange-yellow to golden-yellow tubular flowers that beautifully contrast with the medium green foliage. These nectar-rich flowers attract many pollinators and bring a warm touch to the garden. After flowering, small decorative orange-red berries may appear and are enjoyed by birds. Very hardy and easy to grow, this honeysuckle thrives in ordinary, well-drained soil and prefers full sun locations to produce a generous bloom.
