French Marigold 'Antigua Mix' – Compact and elegant colourful mix

A vibrant mix to brighten up your gardens and balconies. Marigold 'Antigua Mix' ( Tagetes erecta ), offered by the seed company OSC, is an annual hybrid perfect for colorful and uniform plantings.

This compact, branching variety offers a range of vibrant colours including yellow, gold, primrose and orange. Plants grow to 25cm tall and produce spectacular 7.5cm double flowers throughout the summer. Weather-resistant and easy to grow, these marigolds are ideal for the front of borders, planters or containers. Their unique scent repels insect pests, making them a great choice for protecting your vegetable gardens.

Spreading: Final spacing of 25 cm between plants
Plant height: 25 cm
Quantity per pack: Approximately 20 seeds (300 seeds/gram)
Companion plants: Tomatoes, peppers, eggplants
Enemy plants: None known

Cultivation method:

Sow directly into the ground between mid and late May, at a depth of 6mm. Keep the soil moist until germination, which occurs in about 7 days. Thin out or transplant seedlings when they are 5-8cm tall, spacing them 25cm apart. For early flowering, start seeds indoors 6 weeks before planting out in a soilless mix. Maintain a temperature of 20°C during germination (7-10 days), then gradually acclimatise the seedlings before transplanting to a sunny location. Remove spent flowers regularly to prolong flowering.

The French Marigold 'Antigua Mix' combines vibrant colours and generous flowering, perfect for giving life and elegance to all your outdoor spaces.
