A Natural and Colorful Garden All Summer Long

Wildflower mix 'OSC Mix' , offered by the OSC seed company.

This unique mix brings together varieties of wildflowers carefully selected to offer a vibrant and long-lasting bloom. Composed of annuals, perennials and biennials, it guarantees a garden in bloom from early summer until the first frosts. The perennials (P) will re-bloom each year from the second season, while the annuals (A) will reseed themselves naturally. Suitable for low-maintenance gardens, this mix attracts pollinators and promotes biodiversity.

Spread : Varies depending on the variety
Plant height : 60-90 cm
Companion plants : All native flowers and honey plants
Enemy plants : None in particular, avoid competition with invasive grasses

Composition of the mixture:

  • Annuals (A) : Snow carpet alyssum, Annual chrysanthemum, Baby's breath, Cornflower, Calendula, Cosmos, Flanders poppy, Scarlet flax
  • Perennials (P) : Rudbeckia (Black-eyed Susan), Silene, Lanceolate Coreopsis, Evening Primrose, Purple Coneflower, Rocky Mountain Penstemon, Russell's Lupin, Shasta Daisy, Soapwort
  • Biennials (B) : Wallflower

Sow directly into the ground from early May to mid-June or in the fall (mid-September to late October) for natural seed stratification. Early spring sowing (late March/early April) is also effective. Prepare the soil by removing weeds, loosen it to a depth of 2.5 cm and sow the seeds on the surface. Mixing the fine seeds with dry sand helps spread them better. Water as needed during the first growing season.

Add a wild and vibrant touch to your garden with this varied and easy to grow mix, perfect for attracting bees and butterflies!

The availability of our seeds varies depending on seasonal availability, production schedules and supplier inventory. Certain varieties may only be offered for a limited time based on their natural growth cycle, sowing period or available stock. These product pages are designed to help and inspire gardeners in choosing the right seeds for vegetable gardens, flower beds, pollinator gardens, container growing, naturalization projects and sustainable outdoor spaces.
