“Mary Washington” is an heirloom asparagus variety renowned for its vigor , hardiness , and reliable production year after year. It produces beautiful, straight, fleshy, and flavorful green spears that are excellent grilled, roasted, or steamed. Long-lived, it can produce for 15 to 20 years once established. It is a classic variety in North American vegetable gardens thanks to its adaptation to cool climates and its hardiness.
