An open-pollinated heirloom variety, “Imperator” produces long, straight, elegant, and very uniform dark orange carrots. Their flavor is exceptionally sweet , their texture crisp , and their elongated shape— 18 to 20 cm —makes them a top choice for bunching, fresh cooking, or roasting. A highly decorative variety in the garden and delicious on the table.

Planting and maintenance:

Thin to 3–5 cm apart to encourage straight, well-formed roots. Water regularly for tender, sweet flesh, and weed carefully to prevent competition.
