White pumpkin “Lumina” ( Cucurbita pepo ), offered by OSC Seeds
A spectacular and highly prized variety for Halloween, “Lumina” produces large, round, white pumpkins, 20 to 25 cm in diameter and weighing 5 to 7 kg . Their pale skin gives a ghostly effect to the garden and offers a superb surface for carving , painting, or decorating. The flesh, pale and firm, is also suitable for cooking. Productive and reliable, this pumpkin is a real eye-catcher in an autumnal patch.

Planting and maintenance:
Plant in full sun , in rich, well-drained soil amended with compost. Sow directly when the soil is warm or start seeds indoors 2–3 weeks before planting out. Give the vigorous vines plenty of space. Water deeply but not excessively to encourage well-formed fruit. Harvest when the white skin is ripe, firm, and resists thumb pressure.
