Giant flattened pumpkins, impressive and perfect for display

Giant “Big Max” pumpkin ( Cucurbita maxima ), offered by OSC Seeds

“Big Max” lives up to its name: this giant variety produces pumpkins weighing 20 kg under normal conditions, and over 45 kg —even up to 175 cm in diameter —when growing conditions are ideal. The fruits, often flattened , have a very thick , pinkish-orange skin, making them resistant and long-lasting. Perfect for competitions, exhibitions, large-scale decorations, or simply to impress the neighbors!

Height/Habit: Vigorous, creeping vines
Package size: Approximately 20 seeds
Harvest time: 120 days

Planting and maintenance:
Plant in full sun in rich, deep soil well-amended with compost. Provide plenty of space , as the vines are very vigorous. Water deeply and regularly to prevent cracking, especially as the fruit develops. To maximize size, limit the number of fruits per plant and provide regular watering and consistent nutrients. Harvest when the skin is firm and evenly colored.
