An heirloom variety over 400 years old, also known as the white pattypan squash , this summer squash produces attractive 12 cm disc- shaped fruits with scalloped edges and a pale green skin speckled with white . Its flesh has a creamy texture and a mild, nutty flavor, especially when cooked quickly. Highly reliable, productive, and decorative, it is perfect sautéed, roasted, stuffed, or grilled.
