description
Sweet squashes with edible skin and a mild flavor reminiscent of sweet potatoes
Winter squash “Sweet Potato Delicata” ( Cucurbita pepo ), offered by OSC Seeds
This unique winter squash produces cream-colored fruits adorned with fine green stripes , measuring approximately 15 to 20 cm long. Unlike most winter squashes, its skin is thin and entirely edible , eliminating the need for peeling. Its orange flesh, very sweet and mild, is perfect for stuffing, baking, and roasting. A compact variety with short vines , it also makes an excellent winter keeper when stored in a cool, dry place.
