Oregano is a robust and highly aromatic perennial herb, essential in Mediterranean dishes , pasta , pizzas , tomato sauces, grilled meats, and marinades. Its dark green leaves release a warm, slightly peppery fragrance that intensifies as it dries. Highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, it also serves as a decorative plant. Vigorous, it spreads easily in the garden while remaining easy to maintain.

Planting and maintenance:

Prune regularly to encourage branching and prevent excessive spreading. Harvest as needed, especially before flowering for maximum flavor. Dries very easily.
