A classic and much-loved variety, 'Sugar Snap Vine' produces long, crisp , thick , and deliciously sweet pods, perfect for eating whole. Very vigorous, this pea develops long , climbing vines that require support, but reward the gardener with an abundant and prolonged harvest. Excellent fresh, sautéed, steamed, or for freezing.

Planting and maintenance:
Sow early in the season , as soon as the soil temperature reaches 10–16°C , from April to mid-May. Plant in rows or double rows spaced 25 cm apart with 75 cm between rows. Sow seeds 2–3 cm deep and space them 5–7 cm apart. Provide a trellis or netting to support the vines. Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during flowering and pod formation. Harvest every 1 to 2 days to encourage continuous production and maintain their exceptional crispness.
