An heirloom variety cultivated since at least 1865 , 'White Icicle' produces beautiful , glossy white roots, measuring up to 12.5 cm long and about 2.5 cm in diameter. Their flesh is crisp and sweet , with a mild flavor that gently warms the tongue, but is less pungent than that of round radishes. Highly appealing to both gardeners and growers, this radish grows quickly and performs exceptionally well in cooler climates.
