The 'Keravel' onion is an ancient and emblematic variety of Brittany , known for its slightly pinkish white flesh , its crunchy texture and its perfect balance between spiciness and sweetness . Raw, it is juicy and moderately spicy , while cooked, it reveals sweet and fruity notes .


This round onion, 8 cm in diameter, is renowned for its good conservation and has been the basis of the famous "Oignon de Roscoff" controlled designation of origin since 2009. Also known as Rosé d'Armorique or Rosé de Bretagne , it is very popular in cooking for its versatility and unique taste .
